Mystere (pronounced me-STAIR) first envelopes you in it's world with a custom-designed theater, painted and upholstered in deep blues. Smoke and colored light filters through the room, and two baby carraiges emitting a red glow sit centered on an empty stage. On both sides over the stage are balconies where the live musicians and singers are located.

The music is an important aspect of the show. It has a new-age kind of sound, but it's driven by rhythm - as the spectacular opening shows. The rhythm of the music drives the majority of the acts, which are intricate combinations of dance, character movement, and seemingly impossible feats of skill. I often found myself unsure which I was really clapping for - an amazing stunt that was just accomplished, or the incredible artistry with which it was performed. Over the course of three years, the quality and effort put out by the cast of Mystere has never faltered - something which few shows in Vegas can say.

This show just has so much that's good, you need to see it soon because the ticket prices contintue to rise as shows continue to sell out.
