So maybe this "amusement-park-in-a-pink-bubble" isn't
the greatest around, but when it's 109 degrees outside
it's certainly the coolest. Located in the rear of
Circus-Circus,
it contains a laser-tag arena,
a "tidal-wave" type water ride, and some other smaller
carnival stuff. The best reason to visit, however, is the
roller coaster.
I'm a roller coaster fanatic, and this one, while small,
makes excellent use of the space with a loop, a corkscrew,
tight turns and spirals twisting through
an artificial mountain. This compact package is traversed
with a blazing speed that pulls positive and negative G-forces will leave you breathless!
Admission to the park is free, so at least step in and
check it out. I recommend avoiding the water ride though,
because when you're indoors, it takes
forever to dry out!
